Darryl currently works at Southern Company where he spearheads initiatives in XR, spatial computing, and real-time, photorealistic geospatial solutions used for planning and economic development. Prior to joining Southern, he served as a Research Engineer at Georgia Tech Research Institute, focusing on projects for the Department of Defense, first responders, and private industry. Darryl is particularly interested in the intersection of XR/spatial computing and user experience design to create intuitive and immersive environments. Off the clock, he is active in the XR community around the Atlanta area and enjoys reading, anime, and, gaming on the PS5.
