Chris McGlone is Director of Vascular Training & Education at Abbott . He has over 15 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Training, Medical Education, and Engineering in the Medical Device industry. He is proud of the vast accomplishments of his team at Abbott which has been responsible for a number of innovations including VR/AR education for physicians and allied healthcare professionals, VR for sales rep training, remote hands-on learning tools, interactive assessment techniques, and other immersive training experiences. He has twice been the recipient of an Abbott Vascular President's Awards, including one for the innovative use of Virtual Reality for customer education and engagement. Prior to Abbott, Chris worked in engineering and commercial roles at St. Jude Medical and Advanced Bionics. He studied at IESE Business School in Barcelona, holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Robotics from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
