David Dolenga is the Manager for General Motors’ Immersive Technology Lab. In this role, he combines his passion for computer-aided design with his extensive product development experience to lead GM’s vehicle development teams in the adoption of immersive technology. This includes developing immersive experiences comprised of head mounted displays, tracking systems, and analytical software for use in Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Service.

David has worked for GM for more than 25 years. During this time his experience has spanned the entire global vehicle development process — including engineered concept vehicles, low-volume production vehicles and high-volume global architectures. He has also earned two US Patents, a GM Boss Kettering Award, and a GM Tool Secret Award.

David earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
