Rajat Lokesh has been developing XR prototypes at Schlumberger for over 3 years. Before which he graduated with a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California where he focused on game/VR/AR development and was a teaching assistant at USC's GamePipe Lab helping students learn about VR/AR development. He has created XR applications for several devices such as the HoloLens 1, HoloLens 2, Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Meta Quest 2, and a number of mobile devices and tablets. He is currently working on a project called Petrel XR which allows users to collaborate in real-time around 3D subsurface models that are seamlessly brought in from the well-known reservoir engineering software Petrel into devices like the Meta Quest 2 and the HoloLens 2.
