XR at Work Community Service Event

Last year, Scott Burkey and Dane Laughlin of the XR at Work podcast recruited Augmented Enterprise Summit attendees to bring the wonder of VR to the Brookdale Senior Living Community in Houston.

It was an incredible and emotionally-fulfilling success, and we raised funds to donate a VR headset for the residents to continue their virtual explorations.

This year, Scott and Dane plan to do something similar in Dallas, this time at the Bridge Homeless Recovery Center in Dallas. Volunteers will distribute donations of blankets and essential items along with providing VR demonstrations.
