Austin Coglianese is a Manufacturing Augmented Reality Trainer at Fastenal. He uses his experience with both manufacturing operations and digital media creation to lead the development and implementation of augmented reality training throughout Fastenal. By focusing on both operator safety and accelerating their career development, Austin and his team have been able to create AR training programs that simultaneously comply with ISO certification standards while capturing the tribal knowledge of veteran machinists. Additionally, Austin uses his video production skills to create a wide variety of content for Fastenal, including 360 degree virtual reality videos that allow viewers to experience the many different elements of Fastenal Manufacturing. Austin holds a Bachelors in Media Arts and Science from Indiana University Indianapolis.
