Cordaro has spent the last eight years within Marathon Petroleum Corporation as a Terminal Operator for seven year and Training Specialist for a year searching for ways to learn, support and provide successful learning solutions that are tailored to the needs of the organization. By having experience as a Terminal Operator, he has utilized applicable technology for learning and developing other technicians as it becomes available in a cost-effective manner. Over the past few years, Marathon has taken advantage of the increasing demand for equipment training by entering the field of virtual reality. As an example, remote learning solutions, augmented reality, and virtual reality, are all examples of ways in which technology has been used to bridge the gap created by geographical barriers in order to provide better training.
