Andrew Lowe has been involved with industrial virtual reality since 2007, when he became the first person at Purdue University to pursue research in the engineering applications of virtual reality, starting as an undergraduate research assistant and moving to a graduate research fellowship at Purdue’s Envision Center. In addition to his virtual reality background, he has extensive research and and industry experience in design automation. He leveraged these skillsets at Rolls-Royce to build their engineering VR capability in the United States from the ground up. Andrew currently runs all of Rolls-Royce's VR capability in North America, and is the capability and strategy lead for their defense business globally.
