As Innovation Manager at OPN Architects, Hugh is a key figure in OPN's Digital Practice Group. He collaborates with design teams, Practice Leaders, and the Building Performance, Design Excellence, and BIM groups to research, vet, and integrate new design technologies and VDC workflows. A significant part of his work involves integrating Extended Reality (XR) workflows into various stages of architectural practice from master planning to design, digital fabrication, and visualization revolutionizing the way OPN visualizes projects and communicates designs, making them more immersive and interactive. Outside of OPN, Hugh shares his insights through presentations and workshops with universities and the AIA. His expertise in the technical and creative aspects of architecture and proclivity for combining the unexpected make him a unique voice in the field.
