Doug leads the practice of tech innovation at Eli Lilly, the world’s largest healthcare company.

After leading technology efforts that powered one of the first large-scale COVID testing centers, Doug pioneered a breakthrough innovation that connects patients to medication support through consumer ‘tap’ (NFC) technology. He also established Product and Engineering capabilities for a pan-pharma startup. Today, Doug’s global teams are accelerating innovation and adoption of AI and other emerging technologies through a Tech Innovation Pipeline.

Doug believes that the greatest innovations stem from asking the simplest questions, like “What if we could digitally clone ourselves?” These questions drive his pursuit of improving people’s lives around the world, focusing on technologies like digital people, disposable IoT, and digital health.
