Framarz Mistry has worked in the architecture and interior design visualization industry for over 10 years. He is responsible for the visualization technology needs of Mohawk Group and their clients, covering state-of-the-art simulations and room scene renderings and providing online tools that assist designers to enable them to add their personal flair to their spaces. He has been the key personnel responsible for establishing the Visual Interactive Studio (VIS) at Mohawk Group and has led the development and implementation of award-winning virtual reality technology in all the Mohawk Group’s showrooms across North America. More recently, he led the development of Mohawk’s web-based real-time carpet simulation and recoloring tool – Personal Studio™. Framarz earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Birla Institute of Technology in India and a Master’s degree in Interactive Design and Game Development from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, USA. His unique combination of education and work experience allows him to bring a fresh perspective to visualization for the manufacturing industry.
