Human Health & Performance Engineer

Alex Baughman is a human performance engineer and APACHE project lead at the NASA JSC. He received a Master's and Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2020 and 2019, respectively. His work with XR first started as an undergraduate researcher investigating VR and AR technologies as they relate to spacecraft habitat design and evaluation. Alex then joined the Extravehicular Activity and Environmental Physiology Lab at NASA JSC where he continues to use VR as a tool for human health and performance research, specifically within the APACHE project.
