Shelley Peterson’s decades of experience across the XR industry have resulted in repeated demonstration of the value of XR across numerous manufacturing programs, including Lockheed Martin’s civil/commercial/defense space programs. As a Director within Microsoft's MR organization, Shelley designs methods for strategic implementation of XR technology to aid in driving impactful value for numerous sectors.

Shelley taught college math at the UNT at age 20. Early in her professional career, she founded a business providing an array of solutions including aircraft distributed mission training and a monocular for SOCOM. Her experience includes the B1-Bomber simulator, electronic-warfare capabilities at E-Systems, and the Space-Based-Infrared-Systems satellite program as the first certified crew member and instructor.

Shelley also serves on the Barbara Bush Foundation Advisory Board, and the AWE Advisory Committee.

Shelley has been invited as a guest instructor for numerous universities and organizations, and has been highlighted in Forbes, Fortune, WSJ, and many others.
