About
Casey Jolley has been mixing geology, technology, and curiosity at ExxonMobil since 2012. He currently serves as the Geoscience Technology Advisor, where he champions emerging tools related to subsurface prediction. Casey pushes the geoscience community toward what’s next—from automation and agentic AI to VR, AR, and 3D scanning. His commitment to XR started early, selling his motorcycle to buy his first headsets. Something his kids still tease him about today.
Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Casey earned an accounting degree from Brigham Young University before discovering that rocks were just as exciting as spreadsheets. He then went on to earn a master’s degree in geology from Texas A&M. Since joining ExxonMobil, Casey has helped identify and characterize hydrocarbon prospects and driven geoscience teams in maximize the value they get from technology.
Outside work, Casey enjoys reading, 3D printing, pickleball, ultimate frisbee, and life as a dad to five awesome kids.
