About

Greg Meyers is CEO and Co-Founder of ForgeFX Simulations and a 30-year veteran of interactive technology and training system design. He specializes in translating complex, high-risk operations into practical, scalable simulation training that improves safety and accelerates time-to-competency. Greg’s career began at Sega of America, where he contributed to the Madden Football and Virtua Fighter franchises, followed by work under game designer Jordan Mechner on Broderbund’s The Last Express and key roles at leading digital agencies during the early internet era. That foundation shaped his approach to training: designed for real-world adoption, grounded in user behavior and performance under pressure. Since co-founding ForgeFX in 2001, Greg has worked directly with clients across construction, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and defense to align training strategy with operational reality. He remains hands-on in advancing simulation, XR, and AI, and brings a practical, cross-industry perspective on how immersive training is reshaping workforce readiness.

Case Study - Operationalizing the XR Stack: Building XR Training Programs That Scale (ForgeFX)

Atrium Ballroom A

Many enterprise XR training initiatives succeed as pilots but struggle to become scalable, sustainable workforce programs. In this session, Greg Meyers, CEO and Co-Founder of ForgeFX Simulations, will break down the XR training stack, including simulation development, real-time 3D platforms, device management, content distribution, analytics, and deployment operations. Drawing on ForgeFX Simulations’ experience developing immersive training programs for heavy equipment, construction, energy, industrial, and government customers, Greg will show how early technology and program decisions determine whether XR training remains a one-off project or becomes a repeatable, measurable training system. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for building XR training programs that scale across teams, regions, equipment types, and operational environments.
