Luca Spensieri

Luca Spensieri is the Assistant Director of Strategy & Innovation – Operations Training at MTA Metro-North Railroad, where he leads the design and deployment of next-generation training solutions using VR, AR, and AI to strengthen workforce safety, technical proficiency, and operational readiness. His work focuses on building high‑fidelity learning experiences, digital twins, and scalable content that reflects real-world operating conditions.

Before joining Metro-North, Luca spent over eight years at Panavision New York, serving as a lead technical advisor to productions of all scales. He developed custom tools and training content for complex camera systems and workflows, supporting filmmakers through hands-on technical guidance, innovative engineering solutions, and clear, user‑focused documentation.

Luca is passionate about bridging emerging technology with frontline operations, creating practical, engaging training experiences for industries where precision and safety are mission-critical.
