RP1® is building the infrastructure layer for spatial computing: the open-source browser engine, the world’s first native metaverse browser, and the spatial fabric services that make it economically viable for enterprises to own and deploy spatial experiences without depending on closed platforms. RP1’s technology enables organizations to deploy and self-host spatial infrastructure and services, ensuring full control over data, security, and customer experience without relying on walled gardens or platforms.

The metaverse is the 3D and spatial evolution of the World Wide Web, and it needs the same open foundation that made the web possible. No one company owned HTML, HTTP, or TCP/IP, and no one company should own the spatial equivalent. RP1 created the Open Metaverse Browser Initiative (OMBI) in collaboration with the Metaverse Standards Forum to ensure that the foundational layer of spatial computing belongs to the industry, not a single vendor.
