Kevat Chavan

Kevat Chavan is a Chartered Engineer and Strategic Sales & Innovation Leader at GE Vernova, where he helps accelerate the adoption and commercialization of advanced technologies that support the electrification and decarbonization of industry. With more than 17 years of experience spanning engineering, product management, business development, and go-to-market strategy, he brings a unique perspective that bridges real-world industrial operations with emerging digital technologies.

At GE Vernova, Kevat focuses on developing innovative solutions and service offerings from pilot projects into full-scale deployments, with particular focus on Extended Reality (XR), digital twins, immersive training, and spatial computing. His work explores how XR can improve safety, quality, and optimize the design, operation, and maintenance of complex industrial assets.

Kevat also serves as Vice Chair of the Society of Maritime Industries’ Digital Technology Group, helping drive digital transformation across the maritime sector.
